has Guile a Code of Conduct ?

Who could I contact, should I run into interactions that I deem
inappropriate in the Guile channels ?

I can't find this information on the web site

It doesn't seem to have an explicit one.

But nearly:

- since GNU Guile is a GNU project, this seems the most
relevant: https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/kind-communication.html
(pretty recent).

- Not Guile, but Guix, a close neighbour, seems to have one:

There's no "official" channel that I knew of, but if you hang
around for a while in the mailing lists you might get a pretty
good impression on who might help out here.

And keep an eye out for yourself too...

Yes, perhaps there should be.

That’s because Guile doesn’t have a code of conduct and no documented
processes to handle issues.

I’d personally be in favor of adopting a relevant code of conduct with
documented processes. That would need discussion among the maintainers
first (Andy Wingo, Mark H Weaver, and myself.)

Thanks,
Ludo’.

Also, I'm hoping that the original question is as theoretical as it
sounds. I have always been impressed at the general high standards of
interaction within the guile world, going back a really long time. (But
I've been mostly on the mailinglist, and not other channels.)

While in principle I do agree with you, an explicit CoC is a signal
that the community has put thought into it and cares. This might be
reassuring to some (for those of us in the privilege of having lived
always on the "sunny side" it's very difficult to get a true feeling
of how important that is!).

Cheers
